The Mission Police Department's Jurisdiction cover from 3 mile line in some sections of the City all the way the the Rio Grande River. From East to West we cover from Taylor Road all the way to Moorefield Road. In all, the Patrol Division covers an area of 30.62 square miles. As you can see, our city limits are extremely large with a lot of ground for our patrol officers to cover. We serve a population of about 49,000. The population almost doubles to about 80,000 during the winter months. The Patrol Division is supervised by Sgt. C.C. Garza and Sgt. J. Ramon.
