The Mission Municipal Court is located within the Mission Public Safety Building. Our new facilities include two court rooms to serve our community more efficiently. Our hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. We are open through the lunch hour to better serve the community. It is our duty to see that the constitutional rights of all litigants are protected. It is further the duty and obligation of judges to see that all litigants have their day in court. We are pleased that you took an interest in our Judicial System. When an offense is committed and a citation is issued, you are required to appear and enter a plea of guilty, not guilty, or no contest on or before the appearance date as shown on the ticket. At that time, if a guilty plea is entered, you may pay the full amount or request a 30 day extension. If the ticket is not paid within the 30 day extension, a fee of $25.00 dollars will be added. If a plea of not guilty is entered, your case will be set up for court and a notice of the court hearing date will be sent to you. If you fail to appear in court on such date, a FTA(Failed to Appear) fine of $150.00 dollars will be added to your fine and an additional fine of $50.00 dollars will be added to the original ticket.
