The Mission Crime Stoppers Program has been an effective tool for solving crime in our community. This program consists of the Mission Police Department having a telephone line available 24 hours a day for concerned citizens that wan to report suspicious/criminal activities. The caller does not have to identify himself/herself when providing information on this line. The information provided leads to the arrest and grand jury indictment of any person or persons involved in the reported crime, the caller will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00 dollars. The caller does not have to testify in court. All calls are confidential. The Mission Crime Stoppers Program is part of our Crime Prevention Unit. The Mission Police Department strongly believes in getting the community involved in our everyday activities. Programs such as the Neighborhood Crime Watch helps educate our citizens, preventing them from becoming victims of crime.
